Yellow journalism refers to sensational news , biased news Stories which favour a single opinion. It is an unethical means of communication. Two publisher Joseph Pulitzer, the publisher of New York World and William Randolf Hearst, the publisher of New York Journal are credited with the creation of yellow journalism.
They use multicolumn headlines, oversized pictures , front-page stories that varied from sensationalist to salacious in the same issue etc .
It is still present in the contemporary world as we encounter many biased stories mainly on the internet.
