This story hits close to him and moves me in ways that maybe no other podcast was able to do. My grandfather was diagnosed with cancer a few years back and his fight has continued. Being privy to the environment of hospitals like Safdurjung and AIIMS where people fall on their knees, pleading for the well-being of their patients and support in front of peons, nurses, doctors, and receptionists just because they were not God's favorite child, I know and I have seen them crave for people like Rajeev Kumar whose character promises that there's still light in the dark valleys of disease and recovery.
Feeding someone in need is considered to be "Punya" in our culture but feeding families who suffer like this and offering them emotional support deserves the ultimate reward and recognition there is. Truly thankful to Dr #VartikaNanda for bringing this story forward.
