Dr. Sukhda Pritam, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Ambala made a special visit to Central Jail Ambala. During the visit, Dr. Pritam and Shri Lakhbir Singh Brar, Superintendent of the jail, did a joint broadcast through the jail radio congratulating RJ Sheru for his recent song. They also exhorted all the inmates for more creative pursuits like this and encouraged to come forward for vaccination.
Haryana Prisons have launched prison radios in 7 out of 12 prisons of the state. First prison radio in Haryana was inaugurated in District Jail, Panipat by Shri Ranjit Singh, Jail Minister, Shri Rajeev Arora, IAS, ACS, Home & Jail Department, Government of Haryana, Shri K. Selvaraj, then Director General of Prisons, Haryana.
