There is no doubt that the Judicial System of the India is burdened with cases rising exponentially and do not having many hands on the desk. This have already led to the rising number cases which are still under consideration with the accused behind bars. All this have now led to the overcrowding of Jails. The article is a brief on life in jails during corona. How panademic has effected the lives of inmates. The undertrai. ls are increasing day by day due to delayed judgements creating rush in the barracks. It is mandatory to follow corona protocols but, more important is to create some activty within the jails to utilise the energy of inmates. Jail radio is one such initiative in the jails of Haryana by TinkaTinka Foundaation under the leadership of Dr. Vartika Nanda. Inmates found anew area to explore their talent and make a link with society. It maotivated all other inmates in various jails of Haryana. Recent examples are Sheru from Central jail Ambala, Jatinder from District jail Rohtak and Kasish from Karnal jail. Tinka Tinka Foundation has provided a platform to Sheru, an inmate of Central Jail Ambala. A proud moment for Sheru, it is like a dream for an inmate which has come to reality by Dr. Vartika Nanda, founder of Tinka Tinka Foundation, an academician by profession. She is working on prison reform since a long time and trying to bring colours in their lives by different projects.A similar platform has been provided to Jatinder from Rohtak jail and kashish from Karnal jail.
