Saroj Singh gets added to the long list of hidden women rockstars who have torn down the patriarchal roadblocks and the world is a witness to what happens next. When a woman like Saroj achieves power, the barriers fall. When women see what women like Saroj can do, there are bound to be a hundred other women who have felt less than men their entire life doing and achieving all kinds of goals in the world and breaking all the barriers that exist. And the real magic will happen when the world gets to see what we can do and then, there will be nothing holding us back.
Singh, a talented athlete, an exceptional police officer, and a guru who has trained and encouraged other women to serve their country for free while she raised 9 children is an incarnation of empowerment and strength and we need more stories like these to be told.
