2019: Presented paper
on the Role of radio in community communication inside prisons in
India at the international conference of IAMCR 2019 held in Madrid,
Spain under the section Community Radio:Narratives, Politics and Human
Rights on July 10. (July 7-11,2019).
This paper is part of the action research project based on author’s original work in prisons focusing on the role of the government and prison authorities in addressing the communication needs of inmates. Author is the founder of Tinka Tinka, a movement that work towards bringing the prisons together aiming at the reformation of inmates through art, creativity and communication in Indian prisons.
