In today's class i.e. Friday, 19th September, we we given the task to check and remark the test copies of our classmates. I reviewed three copies with different answers. While I was reviewing the copies, i realised how different and unique the understanding and articulation of same subjects be even though we all learnt the same things. This shows how every individual has their own way of learning and presenting their thoughts even under time pressure. One student had very nice and clear handwriting while other used illustrations and diagrams to explain the answer. It was very refreshing to observe and learn from my classmates and how they present their understanding of the topic in versatile ways.

Today, for our practical classes we were assigned to go through at least two answer sheets of the test that was held earlier this week and provide suggestions and remarks as and where we thought appropriate while also grading the entire paper out of 20. Each student was tasked to look minutely through the answer scripts of any two students except herself and grade the same. Through this meaningful activity we had the opportunity to not only understand how our fellow classmates are framing answers but also a thorough understanding of various other ways we can frame our own answers for the upcoming exams. The part where we had to put appropriate remarks on answers helped us develop a deeper comprehension as to what exactly strikes out in a particular answer and what doesn't.
Overall it was quite an innovative and exciting practical activity.

In today’s practical, I marked my classmates’ answer scripts for a test conducted in the class on September 15, 2025. This was a new, one-of-a-kind experience in which I got the opportunity to evaluate answers from the perspective of the professor, which led me to draw lots of useful insights on answer writing. For instance, I noticed how indispensable the practice of quoting examples is. Only when an answer includes relevant examples, does it seem complete and thought-out. Another one of my observations was that one must always elaborate on each sub-point of an answer. When the question demands a lengthy explanation, all parts of the answer must be sufficiently elaborated on, for the answer to become deserving of full marks. These invaluable insights are lessons that I’ll carry forward and imbibe in my work in the future, now that I have understood their necessity from the other perspective, as well.

In today’s practical session, I got a unique chance to evaluate my classmates’ answer scripts from the September 15, 2025 test. Stepping into the professor’s role was eye-opening and gave me fresh insights into effective answer writing. I realized the importance of adding relevant examples—answers felt incomplete without them. I also observed that every sub-point must be explained thoroughly, especially when a detailed response is expected. Only then does an answer seem well-structured and worthy of full marks. These takeaways are valuable lessons that I will apply in my own writing, now that I’ve seen their impact firsthand.

Today's practical involved us checking our classmates' test paper. This was an extremely informative practical as it assisted in providing me insight into the various ways my classmates wrote their answers, the amount of detail and elaboration needed, appropriate examples to explain points, the use of visuals such as flow and web charts, emphasis on certain points, etc. This informed me of how I could also frame my answers as well.

In todays practical session I engaged in an exercise that required me to evaluate two of my classmates answer scripts from the recent test held on September 15, 2025. The activity was not only about awarding marks out of 20 but also about carefully analyzing each response noting the strengths and pointing out the areas where improvements could be made. This role reversal looking at answers from the examiner’s point of view proved to be a highly enriching experience. One of the most important lessons I drew from this activity was the significance of presenting answers in a structured and well explained manner. I realized that even if a student knows the content, the way it is expressed greatly influences the overall impression. Another takeaway was the importance of using examples and illustrations they make an answer more convincing and complete. I also understood that each sub point within an answer deserves adequate attention and elaboration rather than being left as a mere mention.Beyond the technicalities of answer writing the exercise also made me more conscious of the balance between clarity and depth. As a student I often tend to write with only my own understanding in mind but evaluating others work showed me how important it is to write in a way that communicates effectively to the reader.Overall this practical was an eye opening and innovative approach to learning. It not only gave me insights into how I can refine my own answers but also developed my critical thinking, observational skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.

Today in class, we went through the test sheets of the first test of IOJ, conducted on Monday, 15th September. Reading my classmate's work made me realize how everyone has their own style of expressing ideas and presenting them. Giving suggestions and marking them out of 20 wasn’t easy, but it taught me how to look at writing more carefully. I learned that feedback isn’t just about pointing out mistakes, constructive criticism too is essential alot many times. While evaluating others, I also thought about my own answers and writing style and how I can improve it. Overall, it felt like a simple yet really meaningful exercise in learning together.

Today, we were assigned the task to meticulously go through and check the answer scripts of 2 or 3 students of the class test conducted on 15th September 2025 and give them marks out of 20. We also had to write remarks about the answers which could've been framed in a better way. Through this practical, I understood the different ways in which people write answers, the parameters that have to be kept in mind while writing an answer so that maximum marks can be made out of it and the answer is upto the evaluation standards. Last but not the least, this also taught me to look at the answers from an evaluators perspective and what an evaluator looks for in an answer. All in all, this was a great opportunity to hone our critical analysis skill and deep dwelve into the different perspectives of students while writing an answer.

In my practical class today, I learned about peer assessment by checking and marking my classmates' test sheets.
This activity wasn't just about grading; it was a powerful way to deepen my own understanding of the material. I had to apply my knowledge to identify correct and incorrect answers, which really solidified what I knew. By seeing the mistakes my classmates made, I could also spot potential weaknesses in my own understanding and avoid making the same errors in the future.
Ultimately, I learned how to be more critical and analytical, and I gained a new appreciation for the effort that goes into assessing work. It made me feel more responsible for my own learning and for helping my peers.

In today's class we were asked to assign the test papers of other students from our class. By looking at my classmates’ test mark sheets, I noticed how silly mistakes, like not following the instructions, leaving answers incomplete, missing out important information,or writing unclearly, can lower scores. This has helped me realize how I should present my answers perfectly. From now on, I will write more descriptively, organize my answers clearly, and make sure I don’t miss any important points. I also learned how important it is to review and recheck my paper before I submit it. Overall, this activity has shown me how I can improve my own performance and be more careful in the way I approach my exams next time.

In today’s practical, we were asked to mark our classmates’ test scripts out of 20 marks. This is a new experience for me as I have never corrected any papers firsthand. It showed me the perspective from which some of my classmates think. For example, some answers had a lot of real life examples while some answers were worded so aptly that I could visualise and grasp what they were trying to say very easily. I also gave some constructive remarks on the answers which I thought were lacking in some areas, be it word count, incomplete information or missing crucial details in the answer. It also made me reflect on what mistakes I made while writing my answers during the test, what points I missed etc. Overall, it helped me develop a deeper understanding and comprehension on how to frame answers, highlight keywords and how to answer within the given word limit.
