Tinka Tinka foundation has helped the prisoners to open up with other inmates. It has helped the inmates to explore their hidden talents and letting their creativity take over the monotonous routine. Dr Vartika Nanda the mastermind behind Tinka Tinka is doing her best to guide the inmates into a positive world. She is a guiding light for the prisoners. #tinkatinka #jailatm #jail #prison #jailreform #prisonreforminindia #jailinmates

The Tinka Tinka Foundation annually gives out two Awards- one on human rights day, and another one on International Women's Day. Both the awards have made the inmates further grateful and have also been encouraging the inmates in their interests. it helps the inmates reduce their idleness and further their creative hobbies, which is a unique method to approach them and help them reintegrate into society. Much admiration for your works ma'am.

During the covid times, the same hobbies have been taken up by the inmates with so much love, and they leisure their free time by helping other inmates as can be seen through the Podcast reviews.

This year's theme for the TTFA was very apt. During the pandemic we all were so preoccupied with our own problems, we forgot about how basic government institutions functioned. No media attention was paid to the prison administration during this time, but as always you brought this to our attention. It is important to reward both the inmates and the prison staff in this difficult time. It is important to recognize and reward those inmates who are making an effort to improve themselves after the mistakes they have made. We should recognize people who are willing to change even under the difficult circumstances under which they have to live in prisons. It is excellent that Tinka Tinka is appreciating and rewarding inmates' creativity and talents. I hope new categories are also added to the awards. It is also very good to know that organizations are recognizing the hard work of prison staff and administrations. #tinkatinka #awards #prisonreforms #tinkamodelofprisonreform
